Contributions
How to Contribute to Eastside Intergroup:
As always, we are grateful for the support of our local AA members and groups! Contributions to Eastside Intergroup make it possible for us to operate as a service center dedicated to helping newcomers who are seeking A.A. as well as providing official A.A. materials and other services to eastside A.A. groups. We maintain a 24 hour hotline and take twelfth step calls, publish a monthly newsletter and a quarterly meeting schedule of the greater eastside. Your contributions also make it possible for us carry official A.A. publications including several different languages. We carry coins and pamphlets and are here to support the A.A. groups on the eastside. There are several ways you can contribute to us, if you so choose:
Cash or Checks
You can drop cash or checks to us in the office – we are open 9:30am-5pm M-F. Checks can also be mailed to us at: Eastside Intergroup, 13401 Bel Red Rd, Suite B6, Bellevue, WA 98005
PayPal or Venmo Contributions

ESIG Birthday Club
Many AA members celebrate their AA anniversaries by sending a contribution of $1, $2 or $5 per year of sobriety to the Eastside Intergroup in addition to their regular seventh tradition contribution.
Your contributions support services provided by Eastside Intergroup in facilitating the carrying of the message of Alcoholics Anonymous to the alcoholic that still suffers.
When you join our birthday club, we’ll put your name and AA birthdate in our monthly newsletter along with the name of your home group! You can contribute in person, or via Venmo or PayPal. Information for those contribution platforms are available above.

Faithful Fivers
This is a recurring donation, or it can be paid at one time. Faithful Fivers are A.A. members who pledge to contribute $5 each month to support Eastside Intergroup in its efforts to carry the A.A. message of hope and recovery to those alcoholics who still suffer. As a Faithful Fiver, your personal contribution helps make our vital services possible. The Faithful Fiver idea came about when we remembered that we wasted much more than $5 (less than the cost of single drink in many places) each month during our drinking days. As with the Birthday Club, contributions may be made in the office, via Venmo or PayPal.
Contributing to Districts, Area 72 and the GSO
The Seventh Tradition states: “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions. “While contributions cover each group’s rent and other expenses, the Seventh Tradition is essential at every level of A.A. service. It is both a privilege and a responsibility for groups and members to ensure that not only their group, but also their Intergroup/Central office, local services, district, area and the General Service Office remain self supporting.

The 7th tradition is where spirituality and money mix. According to Bill W., these two facts of our alcoholic life are inseparable. Every time we choose to do twelve step work with other alcoholics, we are choosing to spend time and money to aid our spiritual endeavors. Since AA and all groups within AA are self supporting through our own contributions, we must be aware of this fact each and every time we come together to help the alcoholic who still suffers.
