The PI Committee works mainly with schools, churches, and other organizations that want to know more about Alcoholics Anonymous. PI people talk about what AA does and does not do, and they answer questions about the Fellowship. This committee holds regularly‐scheduled training workshops on how to speak at non‐AA events. PI volunteers generally work in teams when they give talks in the community. Public Information is also responsible for keeping in touch with the media by issuing press releases when there is a newsworthy AA event.

  • Looking for volunteers!
For several years, the East Side Intergroup has been bringing AA panels to several different middle schools, high schools, hospitals, and other outside organizations. We are always looking for volunteers to speak on these panels and carry the message. If you are interested in speaking on a panel, please send us an email at!
